Appliances with several moving parts are prone to wear and tear. Here are some common issues:
Washing machine won’t switch on
This could be caused by a tripped switch from a weight-imbalanced load. It’s easily solved by redistributing the weight of your laundry. Otherwise, there may be an issue with the timer/control board, or your outlet.
Washing machine doesn’t spin properly
If your clothes are soaked at the end of a wash cycle, it may indicate that the drum isn’t spinning well. This could be due to a defective lid switch or lid plunger, damaged wires, broken or worn-out drive belt, or a bad timer/control board.
Washing machine vibrates excessively
If you notice excessive vibration, your washer may be sitting on uneven ground. Check your washing machine’s balance by rocking the appliance side to side. An unbalanced machine will move a lot. A deteriorated damper may also be the cause.
Washing machine leaks
Excess soap, loose hoses, drain hose clogs, and leaking pumps, tubs, or tub water injection hoses could be the cause of a leaking washer.
Washing machine isn’t draining properly
Water will remain in the drum if there is a defective pump, deteriorated drive belt, or clogged drain hose. A washer that doesn’t drain properly could lead to more serious issues, like mold and mildew.
Clothes don’t come out of the wash clean
If wash cycles leave spots or excess soap on the laundry, the washing machine may need a valve repair or replacement. It might also have a defective timer, control board, or detergent dispenser.

Frequently asked questions
Do you do over-the-phone diagnostics and/or troubleshooting?
Sure! Ring us on 718-376-2288 where our friendly team will do their best to help out.
We still recommend an in-person inspection of your appliance to get an accurate diagnosis.
How soon can I expect the repair?
We offer same-day and next-day visits. Tell us the date and time of your preferred visit and we will send you a 3-hour window when the technician is due to arrive.
How long do repairs take?
Repairs can take anywhere from an hour to a few hours, depending on whether parts need replacing, how easy or difficult it is to locate faulty parts, and whether the appliance needs dismantling and reassembly.
To help us complete the job faster you may prepare useful documents such as the appliance manual, brand model and serial number, and warranty information. You can also make the appliance easily accessible by clearing the space around it.
What fees can I expect for your services?
Diagnostic fees and repair fees are quoted separately. A factory-trained technician will visit your location and diagnose the issue/s your appliance might have. The technician will provide you with a clear estimate for the repair so you can be assured that there are no hidden costs.
Are your engineers insured, trained, and certified?
Our technicians are fully insured and licensed. They are highly trained professionals and are factory-trained by brand manufacturers.
